Peugeot 205 T16 (série 200) Blanc Nacré 1984
Due to racing regulations by the FISA, Peugeot needed to sell 200 cars of the 205 Turbo 16 in order for it to compete in group B. This sales target had to be accomplished in less than six months; and despite certain sales restriction, they succeeded. These restrictions, for example, required that all owners also hold a license to drive a FISA homologated vehicle. The Peugeot 205 included a 1.9L turbocharged engine with 200hp which was restrained to 6750tr/min. This low-powered engine aimed to expedite the competition preparations but wasn’t as marketable. Which explains why in 1985, the 205 Turbo 16 "Evolution" was brought to market, powered up with 320 hp.
