With 175 hp under the bonnet, the Saab 900 Turbo 16 was a top of its class at the time it came out. Its design, based around practicality and safety, made it an even more attractive option. It is now even considered to be one of the bases of design for the eighties, and some would even go as far as to see a similarity between it and a Porsche 911!
