Mercedes-Benz W124 E60 AMG
AMG is the official sporty branch of Mercedes-Benz, founded in 1967 in the town of Burgstetten by a Mercedes engineer, Hans-Werner Aufrecht and his financial partner Erhard Melcher. The three initials signify Aufrecht Melcher Grossaspach, the name of the two founders, and Grossaspach, the birth town of H.-W. Aufrecht. For our first scale model of this brand, we have chosen the E60 AMG which is a very limited series of the E500 manufactured between 1994 and 1995. It's V8 attains 381 horse power at 5500rpm with a torque of 59.2mkg at 3750 rmp for a voluntarily restrained speed of 250km/h...not to be handled by just anybody.
