Matra Djet 5 S
1964 marked the end for the René Bonnet adventure, and the appearance of the Matra Djet V S. The sales for the model for the family company were rather lackluster, and as such Matra decided to present the V S at the Salon de Paris. The bodywork, both lengthened and widened, was designed to improve cooling. Two engines would be equipped for the Djet V: the 1108cc with 70 hp, and the Gordini 1108cc with 94 hp for the S. A number of other variants would see the light of day until 1968, when production was halted, the year the Djet/Jet saga came to an end.
