Opel Omega Evo 500
So as to be able to place its sedans in DTM, Opel had to produce and homologue 500 units of a road version. Prepared by Irmscher, this version pushed the 6-cylinder engine from 204 to 230 horsepower. Modifications included widened wings, a disproportionately large front spoiler, rear wing, Recaro seats, and a small logo on the side. The Omega Evo 500 was only ever marketed in Germany, and is even rarer than the Omega Lotus.
