In 2002 Alfa Romeo brought back from the ashes the legendary GTA markings with a sports version of its 156, both as a Sedan and a Break (Sportwagon). With its widened spoilers, its iconic shield, its side sills – not forgetting the magnificent aluminium rims - the 156 GTA Sportwagon didn't only give itself a make-over. Under the hood, a V6 3.2L with 250 hp steals the show (visually as well as audibly) and, albeit weighing in at 1400 kg, lets it reach 100 km/h in just over 6 seconds.
