The sports division at Nissan, Nismo (short for Nissan Motorsport), has produced a great many sports versions of the Skyline. The Nissan Skyline R33 Nismo 400R is one such model, created in 1996 as a limited edition, derived from the R33 GT-R (Gran Turismo Racing). Solely available on the Japanese market, it quickly found fame around the nation of the rising sun. The twin-turbo Nismo 400R is equipped with a straight-six engine, 4 poppet valves, a distributor with a double overhead camshaft, 400hp under the bonnet, and a 5-gear manual transmission. Resistance is futile against this beautiful scale model; we are the only ones to have it in a 1:18 scale!
