Citroën BX 4TC Gr.B

Fixing its sights on the World Rallye Championship of 1985, Citroen chose the BX as its development project for the new group B. With a limited budget, the consequences were dire. After two accidents forced the car to retire at Monte-Carlo in 1986, it was in Sweden that the BX would make its biggest mark, reaching sixth place thanks to Jean-Claude Andruet. With an inconclusive career in rallye driving, along with the unexpected dissolution of group B, the BX very quickly met its maker once more. Its scarcity as well as the number of atypical details would make this unusual car a milestone of the rallye era for Citroen at the end of the 20th century.
