Peugeot 205 Rallye Blanc Meije 1989
The 205 Rally appeared in the Peugeot catalog in 1988. This sports version was only available with 3 doors and in the white color "Meije". This limited edition was inspired by another small French sportscar: the Talbot Samba Rallye. But the 205 Rallye met with a much more resounding success, even imposing itself as an icon. It offered solid performances while maintaining the exemplary handling of a 205. With its 4 "PTS" bands on the grille and on the trunk, it displayed its war paintings proudly while remaining a little more discreet than the GTI. Sold at 69.900F, it had an impressive look to it. Originally planned to be limited to 5,000 units, it was produced to the tune of more than 30,000 units between 1987 and 1992!
