Toyota Celica Twin cam Gr.B Safari Rally 1984
Toyota Team Europe took the track in 1983 with the Toyota Celica Twin-Cam to compete in the World Rally Championship, specifically in the B group. With its 380 hp 2.1L, it was one of the only cars to keep its propulsion while many of its rivals preferred an all-wheel drive. The Celica Twin-Cam was notable for its solidity and steadiness, making it the ideal car for difficult tracks such as the Safari rally in which it came first three times between 1984 and 1986 (our version being the 1984 model driven by Björn Waldegård).
