Alpina B7 Turbo
Manufacturing cars now since 1983, Alpina uses BMW models as a basis for its vehicles. In 1984, this partnership between the two companies gave birth to the Alpina B7 Turbo. With its gilded trim, its front spoiler and distinctive brand marks, it was not one to go unseen. The original engine had a turbo added to it, bringing its total horsepower to 300. To ensure that the B7 was up to scratch to deal with this new-found power, the chassis was completely redone, bringing the vehicle down by 3 centimetres, and giving it new 16” rims (something almost unheard of at the time).
