Renault Espace 2000-1 Brun Canelle 1985
Conceived by Matra, presented and refused by the group PSA, it was acepted by Renault with known success. In 1984, the Renault Espace, the first MPV vehicle of its type, known as the "rolling lounge" and often compared by journalists to the TGV due to it's shape, was indeed a risky gamble which paid off enormously for its manifacturer. In June 1985 appeared a new version called "2000-1", top of the range with lots of equipment such as: new alloy rims, chrome roof rack, distinctive upholstery, a head rest on each seat, armrests concealing storage, etc...
