Following an initial city car in the 1970s, the Audi 50, the German automaker launched the A1 in 2010. Its goal was to compete with the DS3, Mini, Fiat 500, and other Alfa Romeo MiTos. Available with three and then five doors, the small Audi was subsequently given a sports version named the S1. The five-door Sportback benefited from the quattro exterior package, featuring a prominent two-part spoiler and a clearly visible quattro logo reminiscent of the 1980s. It was a great way to highlight the quattro all-wheel-drive system, the brand with the four rings' signature feature since its rally debut 30 years earlier. With such a name, staying true to its rally heritage, the S1 quattro was bound to be a success! Whether for its design — it wasn't named "Most Exciting Car of 2010" for nothing — or its performance, the A1 and S1 models became a true success story!
Never produced at 1/18 scale, the Audi S1 is presented here in Vegas Yellow with a black roof. This resin model car is ideal for Audi collectors or fans of miniature German cars. It is a numbered limited edition.
