Since the 1980s, the company Dimma (Distribution et Importation Michel Malherbe Associés) Design has been manufacturing body kits for Peugeot, Citroën, and Renault cars. The Belgian company is primarily known to Peugeot enthusiasts following the homologation of the kit for the Peugeot 205 GTI by Jean Todt himself. A first at the time, this paved the way for many other creations for the Lion brand's models. Such was the case for the 309 GTI. In 1993, Dimma Design decided to add a supercharger to the engine to boost the 4-cylinder's power from 160 hp to 240 hp! A remarkable feat achieved on a single model. This unique example, named “Kompressor” as in Germany, demonstrates that DIMMA knows both how to build impressive body kits and deliver equally attractive engine tuning.
