In 1989, Toyota gave birth to a new brand called Lexus. Developed internally for several years under the code name "Project F1", this new brand aimed to compete with German automakers internationally in the premium sedan market. The first model was named the LS 400. The Japanese sedan immediately won over the North American public thanks to its comfort, performance, discretion, low fuel consumption, and lower price compared to German brands. In fact, the latter saw their sales drop immediately. The Lexus LS 400 quickly became legendary, even for Street Fighter players who could take on this car in the famous fighting game.
This resin scale model is a true collector's item for video game and Street Fighter fans, as well as collectors of 1/18 scale miniature cars. The Lexus LS400 is presented in its two-tone white and grey finish. This miniature is available in a numbered limited edition, with each piece being hand-painted and hand-assembled.
