Opel Manta 400 Gr.B Safari Rally 1983
Back at the beginning of the Eighties, rally driving was at the top of its game, and every manufacturer wanted to be a part of it. The group B, a pantheon of incredible racers, was an obligatory rite for would-be victors. So as to rivalise against the Audi Quattro, Lancia and Peugeot, Opel developed the Manta. Launched in 1983, it allowed Henri Toivonen and Jimmy McRae to make their mark on the racing industry.
