Launched in the late 1990s, the Seat Leon continues to appeal year after year. By 2018, the Spanish automaker was reaching the end of the third generation, which had just received a facelift for the Phase 2 model launched in 2017. As with previous generations, a sports version was offered under the Cupra name. A "performance" package was subsequently made available to customers: paying tribute to the record set by the brand on the Nürburgring circuit, it offered options to enhance the car's performance and sportiness. The Cupra, already high-performing, thus became a true track monster.
